I thought to adjust fuel/air on an xr2 you just change the jet size?
e.g smaller jet for leaner mixture.

As has allready been said its done by fitting different size jets, so unless the motor has been messed with they are probably the correct size and therefore best left as is.

So I have another problem:

I have connected trim pump to the engine and when I was trying to trim it up one of those aluminum pipes which transport oil from pump to servo motor broke. I was trying to pull it up manualy but I have discovered that servo is hitting in transom, so I can not pull it.

Is it normal thing that servo is hitting the transom?? Can't I tilt the engine higher?? I will be trying to put some kind of spacers between transom and engine sadle. Do you thing it will work??

On some xr2's the idle mixture is adjustable (depends which carbs you have). Mine is and if its running to rich at idle it still will be slightly at W.O.T. ,Depends how critical you want to be for engine rev,s. It will make a minimal difference but everything counts!
But as JBD says DONT change the jets until you know they are correct.

You can't see it in that picture, it'll be a black plastic screw about half way up

See pic for oil fil.

the servo you refer to is a hydraulic ram.

and i cant imagine why its hitting the transom!!
possible very worn bushes meaning the ram is closer to the transom than should be. either way i cant see that the small contact would stop the ram moving! this is hydraulics which are VERY powerful!
