Yamaha 2.6 - Auto lube Vs. Premix for racing.

Hi All,

Been advised by racers that any raceboat should run without the auto lube and we should switch to premix, but the local Yam Dealer says he strongly advises we don't (motor will need re-jetting and alot of set-up)

can anyone with any experience racing Yams shed some light on the subject?

Cheers

Pierre

No issues either way. Take it off you have less chance of something going wrong but unlikely anyway.

If you take it off just mix 50:1 !

If revving high increase jet size slightly.
