Ello From Yorkshire
Hello to all...
Well, what can i say here....much like all of you I'm pretty much a boat addict (i sound like someone at a "help group" meeting)
i grew up in the 70's in various Fletchers (arrowflytes, arrowstreaks, cruisettes) that my dear ol' dad had.
we then moved on to an Omega 828 and then a Don Shead designed Halmatic DS110 which i now own.
personally, i've had my own Fletchers, Avon Searider, Ring 16 and few others over the years but the Halmatic has been in my family since 1982 and is a keeper. She ain't going nowhere!
i have a deep love for the power boats from the 60's through to the 2000's, both racing and cruisers.
so that's a little about me and I'm looking forward to chatting more about owt that floats....

Hi and welcome.
Like you I grew up with Fletchers and the likes but probably being a bit older in the earlier days grew up with Tremlett's , Levi's etc. (My Dad was boat mad and helped form a powerboat racing club).
I have graduated from Formula's, Cobalt's, Princess's (a bit caravan like) and now the very proud owner of my 2nd Hunton (an RS43).
Stick with the forum (you'll love it) and don't get too upset by a little slow response.
Any chance of some photos of the Halmatic?
Cheers
Andy

Whiskylee, I keep her at Goole so i have the Ouse, Trent and Humber to play in directly then out to the coast or also the canals so a pretty varied cruising ground depending on the mood and weather.
