help please im a newbie
i had a boat given to me about 5 years ago and for the life of me have no idea who makes it there are no markings or numbers on it but originally it was a red glittery colour any info or help would be greatly appreciated thanks

I'm only guessing but I wondered if its an old Glastron, they have a strong following and are well made boats from Texas. You'll see them in old Bond films a lot. If it is, I'm certain the hull would be marked somewhere. However, yours is a great classic looking boat and it looks like you've done a really great job of restoring it. There are sites and clubs devoted to classic speedboats, you may have more luck there.

thanks il have to do some searching, where would i find any markings on it if there were any as there was nothing on the outside that i saw

google "identifying your Glaston" (I'd post a link but can't seem to do it in an iPad) see if that throws up anything. There should be a number somewhere no matter who made it. Layers of paint or carpet covering up perhaps. Try also "Glastron Carlson"

iv decided to let this go now a shame really as id love to finish it but iv got my eye on a boat that has come up for sale again that ive been following for a few years now so im going for it, so this is now for sale if anyone is interested sensible offers if you are thanks
