My Ring

Hey everyone, I'm Ryan.
brand new here and also to Ring Powercrafts. I have what I believe to be a late 80's 21. I picked it up for cheap and have started going over and fixing some things to have a ready to go in a couple months hopefully.
Obviously there are a lot of you here that have experience and any insight or advice to what I've got going on please please chime in for me.

already pulled the motor, had a 150 mariner on top of mercury offshore mid. got myself a 2.4 200 to throw on, already set it up drystacked and possibly mod powerhead later. But wanted to put larger transom plate to distribute loaded edges a bit better, also reseal everything a bit better. Had rotten seat pedestals so those got cut out to be replaced. re-configuring the dash with a couple added gauges, took away speedo to use gps but adding water temp and fuel pressure. New dished steering wheel to give more room between the trim switches and my knuckles. Had to pull the tank to clean properly and repaint.
My next steps are trimming the floor that was previously replaces to have a bit better drainage access, also may lose as bit of weight in doing so which could be good.
Will post more as I go for those who have interest.

got the transom pretty much sorted. Jackplate is on but of course top bolts were 1/2inch too short so had to use longer ones with a bunch of spacers. But got the right length now to switch next chance I get.
Messing with the steering arm now trying to come up with an idea to remove the play in the bottom yolk.
