Newbie Question

Hi

I've been around and owned boat for most of my life, and now would love to get into power boat. I would like to build a single engine (modern G / Cheby LS based V8) classic race boat for ski racing, racing and having fun in. Can anyone point me in the right direction of what hull I should be looking at?

I am not in a hurry, and would prefer just a hull or boat with no engine as I already have an engine.....So a bit of a project....

Any help or pointers would be very much appreciated, I have absolutely no experience or knowledge about these...

Gareth

There's this ex-ski racer still for sale. It's used to having more than 800 hp in it.

That's gone a while ago, shame, as I quite fancied it myself.

I saw it a couple of weeks ago, it was about to be rigged as a play boat with a 5.7 and an Alpha drive.

Weird, I phoned Martin a while ago, after a pal put me on to it, he said it was gone!
