The RYA Powerboat Racing Department would like you to join us on Sunday 29th April 2012 for an officials Seminar at RYA House in Hamble.
The Seminar will be hosted by Powerboat Racing Manager John Puddifoot.
The seminar will start at 09:30 with Coffee and a Welcome from John Puddifoot Powerboat Racing Manager
After the Welcome and an update on the General Safety Review and the implications it has had on the sport.
We will then break into workshops specific to Official roles.

• Officer of the Day
• Safety Officers
• Scrutineers
• Race Secretaries
The morning workshop will be followed by an on water demonstration which will include a demonstration of immobilising a casualty in the water and extraction from the water.
This will be followed by lunch.
Following lunch we will return to our workshops for a short afternoon session.
