THIS IS WHAT I SAID LAST YEAR...

Yes 50+ some years back...next year will be the most boats ever as I assume it will be set 2 weeks earlier than the RB 08 event and advertised as the last chance in a competitive environment to shake down your rig against the other racers, and this will still leave 2 weeks to sort out any problems found...a chance an entrant may be foolish to overlook

... and I would of thought that still applied... many teams will need to test out their rig with regard to setup for the long RB 08 race so this would be a great time to fill the boat perhaps 8/10 fuel see how it handles in a racing environment better than testing aloneI would of thought, and the rougher the better for if it comes loose around the cans what chance RB...also a great time if most turn out to have a chat with other competitors regards safety equipment etc

SO fingers crossed this will be the best ever and all for a good cause

BHAS is Saturday and Sunday.
We intend to host the BBQ on Saturday only

CC depends on the ability to get the boat scrutineered Sunday morning. Race instructions say scrutineering Saturday - if this is not flexable, then we will not be doing it, but in previous years RMYC have always tried very hard to assist competitors, so I will phone later and check.

If SlowSidney is already making his excuses, the I dont think there willbe much competition at Cancer Charities....

When you get the engraving done, remember to put on my name for 2006 and, to save time, put it on for 2008 as well.
