2010 Marathon Boats

There is going to be an article on Marathon Boats in the Motor Boat & Yachting.

If you have a new boat being built, have bought an existing second hand boat please post details - although I have most of the stories - I am not sure what is Hush Hush & what can be publicized.

This is good news.

However, trying to raise some interest in our sport from the British Marine Federation and explaining the benefits that have arisen for certain sectors of the Marine Trade (new boats being built and new engines being purchased and fitted) and all because of the growth in Marathon/Offshore Racing, the man at the other end of the phone suddenly asked, “Exactly what is your Modus Operandi”?

At that point, after a pause, I put the phone down as he obviously wasn’t listening or wasn’t interested in what I was saying and I was simply wasting my time. You have to wonder as to what planet some of these guys are coming from sitting in their nice warm offices with their comfortable salaries.

.
think most of them are yachties or only interested in looking after the real core of the british marine industries, like 'waterfront properties'

It won't come as a surprise that our new effort can be publicised - contact details are on the website - you have my number anyway I think?
