The uk boat ended up last in every race, they had problems with the engine , runnning in safe mode ,low rpm.

Cudmoreracing god disqualified for missing the buoy in the first race that they won, but i discussed with the driver, and we agreed that we should go into the last race and show who is the best, and he won that race also. and placed 3rd overall in the europen championship with one race..the winner overall was ronny sundsdal in a twister, and 2nd jan trygve braathen. we are looking forward to next years world championship.

Interesting thread on S & F, especially post 79,

I have asked this question many times before i have always been told that the 115HO (although not homologated) is only a factory blueprinted 115 E-Tec and bears no resemblance to the 130 but this thread (if true) now Contradicts that claim,

After running well off the pace (even for a 90) all season we thought the only way
we were going to be competitive was to go with a new engine so I asked the RYA for a list of engines that I could currently run in 3B as
“grandma” was feeling generous and was advised to buy a 115E-TEC but NOT the 115HO as it was not “Legal”

I am now stuck ..... as even after seeking advice from various BM members / RYA and Evinrude dealers regarding the differences between the STD 115 and the HO I have had nothing but conflicting answers,

Hopefully this will be resolved eventually ……………..

BTW .. Thanks for the links CAIO

Think you really need to hold off & see what happens rather than jumping in now, it might go on the Oct list for 2009 & be ready to rock N roll for 2010.

At the end of the day it's what COMINOFF approve for use UIM 505.07, 505.08, 505.09

You should be able to get a copy to see if it eligible via UIM 505.11 & 505.12

RYA should have the papers on file
