It looks like something a Bond Villain would drive! Hard as nails! How did it go?

Ok first run. Only checked so everything was ok. 50 mph in first gear at 2000 rpm... Really easy to get on plane with 32" /18" propellers.

Can't say. First plan was Cowes but I am a month late and it costs £12-13000 to get there and back.

The boat looks good. How is the waterline when sitting? You stated the boat had petrol engines before so I was wondering if the additional weight made a difference at the stern.

About 10 cm lower than with the petrolengines. Looks OK.

looks fantastic, I agree a Bond villain boat is bang on

Would be great to see it in the UK and Cowes would make a great 1st event, is their not a few more marathon events after Cowes such as Weymouth and Bournemouth that could also be entered to make shipping it to the UK worth while

First real test today.
2 ft chop. 5-blade Mercury props, 29"-16,75/15 rake. Outward rotation.
90 mph at 3100 rpm. Will change the direction and do another test before putting on the 32" props.
Could not use the tabs. They act like light switches at high speeds... To much oilflow. Will fix that next week..
Trim on the drives work fine.
Satisfied so far!
