Not really needed, but you can never get on plane fast enough!
Also been working on the new seating. Hope to begin testing in a couple of weeks.

Just a shakedown run...150Nm.
Nice weather - 2-3 ft chop. Nice and steady at 80 mph with 700 l of fuel and crew of four.
Best speed 87,7 mph(76,2 knots), 29x16,75 propellers turning in.

Fantastic looking boat, and in my fav colour.

Why do you run the L/H prop on the stbd side ! I have used this on twin O/B rigs and found it gives more stern lift

Running the propellers different ways during testing.
This boat works best with propellers turning in(starbord running anticlockwise). Will loose a couple of miles in speed but the boat is much steadier and docks better. Also less sensitive to trim.

Not much action here on Boatmad lately
Jon, where are you??

Looking very good, Mikko. I saw Batman - the Dark Knight Rises - yesterday, and couldn't help thinking about your boat. How about doing CMC in a Batman suit ?

Have you decided what boat you will race in CMC?

A 260 Nm trip during the weekend.
First a 130 Nm leg to Stockholm to the start of Roslagsloppet.
Then yesterday we followed the race all the way up to Öregrund.(Picture)
Finished the day with a 48 Nm offshorerun out in the Baltic(2-3 ft chop) home to Gävle.
Took only 42 min = 77 mph average.

Make it 110 per engine flat out. We had an average of 2,65 l/Nm during last weeks 260 Nm trip. Very small variation in consumption per mile at 60,70 or 80 mph. The boat gets so much more out of the water as the speed rises.
