Allhallows Basic ??

I believe there is a possibilty that Allhallows Basic 23/24 April maybe cancelled due to lack of interest. i know the kids are still racing there and possiblity it could still be on if there is enough interest. why don't we start a thread to see how many are interested.
I will certianly try to get mine ready for a basic by then to air some cobwebs.

Leigh-on-sea near Southend, brought some alreday but they are not race legal apparently so dont want to spend much have got to buy helemets as appaerntly. Do you know anyone who will check out the boat to make sure it complies with everything 1st all the equipment etc.

If youre only planning to do basic racing there is no need to have the boat measured. See if you can get hold of a copy of PB1 which will list all the equipment required. I,m sure one of the smart arses on here can scan and post a copy of the relevent page

One of the biggest things that catch people out is steering. Must be at least twin cable.

Will, you can not use basic races to up grade your licence. They have to be national races.

I've heard that the AYC Allhallows race on Apr 24 is off - sorry for those planning to race.
The UKOBA race at Portsmouth on 30 Apr/1 May is on though, & that is to be a basic race I believe.
RMYC race on Sat 2nd Apr is a basic too.
