I think those that did enter enjoyed themselves. Scottyboy had a superb race and gave CB1 a good run for the first half of the race. Considering that was only his 3rd race and second outing in the B23, he showed good skills. CB1 was certainly getting to grips with his new steed and got quicker with every lap, especially as we were effectively racing on an OCR course, it bodes well for the forthcoming season.
Not forgetting the two OCR boats who had a good battle, with the lead changing in the race. The sole 1.3, whilst being the least powerful boat on the water showed class in front of his home supporters and finished the course.
All in all it was a well organised event and it was a real shame that there were not any more competitors, especially as Allhallows had done so much.
The final results : 1st C12, 2nd C56, 3rd C11, 4th A26, 5th A10 and 6th B6.

You have got it right Ian. Was a great weekend, sorry about the singing!!!! Scottyboy drove a blinder and will be someone to look out for in the coming season, Well done, fantastic drive Scotty. Was just a tad smooth for you Ian, but we all know that in the right conditions no one can touch you. Congrats to the few who turned up and a big thank you to the guys from AYC.

Agree with ya with regards to ian chris! Ya cat looked good and it looked like you were getting used to those tight corners in the second half of the race! Twas abit flat for all of us though really!
Thanks for the good compliments from both you and ian, But still got alot to learn this year!Have you got any details on averages?I was asking but know one would really tell me anything except positions!

Gutted by the time my brothers friend boat was moored up (due to missfiring engine) Taz had finally got in the water, Golden Eye had got fed up waiting for us and I told everyone the wrong time for the race we arrived 15mins after it had all finished!

Well done everybody that was there, a lot less boats there this year think we 14 or 15 in the basic last year?

Was a flat calm day compared to last year the water was like glass!

I think Taz broke a record that day though, "Two tree Island to Ramsgate" pick the girlfiend up and back again in under an hour!!!!! Fair play! You could have raced in those conditions Taz and 2.5L was allowed!
