The 19 moulds are still there, if anyone wants one, but the 21 is better suited to 150hp+ engines and the 17 with a 1.3litre is an incredibly well balanced and quick outfit. Harry and Pentti needed to consolidate the range.
Web site should be OK, but it doesn't tell a lot, H&P are boat builders, not web designers and anyway the powerboat racing market in Scandinavia is in deep recession, so costs are being kept to a minimum.
Main thing to remember about Argo's is that they have inbuilt hull lift and need to be flown level. The big problem when I first brought them in to UK was racers trying to emulate Phantom and Marshan characteristics and trim them too far out, which wastes energy and upsets the hydrodynamics. Sit in a boat with Pentti and all is revealed. There is a quick 17 with a Yam 90 coming out this season, with a young driver, watch it carefully - it could surprise quite a few people.

19' was & is best suited to 1.8ltr !! I suspect would also be good for 1.3.
Certainly no longer allowed with anything bigger than 1.8 !!

19 is ideal and will run circles around any old bernico, 21 was too long for the ocr courses, our 19 was used in 2ltr, im sure bob remembers it, iu was under the impression it was lively?
