BananaShark Venture Cup seats.

Hi everyone - As per a previous thread I don't see us being able to raise the cash to do the Venture Cup, I am therefore offering the boat as a whole for someone to race (have a look in the for sale section) or seats in the boat for the race.

If I do find the cash the team will still need some volunteers with driving licences, a lot of stamina and a very good sense of humour to follow us around Europe for a couple of weeks in June driving a motor home - owning a motor home guarantees you a spot on the team :-)

For the record there is nothing I would rather do than take part in this race but it's looking increasingly difficult!

John,
I´m in the same situation. Boat is ready and tested but very hard to find the cash for the race.
Had a partner and sponsors for last years run but they are gone now...

Cookee / Mikko - when the new website is up we'll have a section for people to connect assets to one another ... teams with spaces connecting with individuals looking for 'a ride', teams with capacity on their trucks connecting with teams looking to share assets, etc.

We're also actively looking at making it easier for paying guests, sponsors, etc. to be able to get in the boats for leg(s) with a possible reduction in current paperwork requirements. We know this has been an issue for some teams, and we have some discussions underway right now which could greatly help.
