Bertram 38 for sale

Ted Tolmans 38' Bertam from back in the early 1980's, Peter Stuyvesant, Carlsberg, etc etc. Looking into it's history it averaged 80mph on one 200 mile race and won the Needles back in - 1982? against very strong competition. Personally I would love to see this boat back running in Marathon so good to see it forsale on Ebay, cheap at £20,000. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290648334881

I think Jon has that video on here on the Media section somewhere. I remember watching it, it was one hell of a race in very rough conditions, nothing new there then!

And Carl, YOU should put in a bid, would make for a great support boat.

Quote from the ebay site: "If sold in UK it will be delivered to Chichester for free so that it can be picked up in Sussex".

Welcome! If you have any photographs or stories you'd like to share that would be great.
