Perhaps it was a "double bluff" that backfired.

Tell everybody that there is limited numbers so that they hurriedly get their entries in, and when they don't, you blame someone else!!!!!!

I haven't raced for 9 years, but nothing changes.

Nah. Hazel was pleasant to speak to.

I guess it just got lost in translation.
To, I hope, more correctly quote her, she did say if everyone who had verbally said they were going to enter, did, they would have too many, and that in that scenario, latecomers (ie after the official closing date) would have be turned away.

Which is close, but not quite the same thing as I bet every man and his dog "said" they were gonna enter.

Gecko & Roof are different makes. Roof helmets (as per your original question) are motorsport type helmets. Gecko are not and don't offer the same impact protection. I don't "think" they're BS6658 either.

Get on google. You'll see the the roof diversion (Which is what Adam sells) is to the required BS standard. Most quality motorcycle helmets are.

it's BS6658 as in rule E28 of PB1.
Some helmets are EN22.05 which is an addition to BS6658 and helmets may be marked as such so be careful.

The Geko is to a PAS (public available standard) specifically for marine safety but the test regime is different to the motorcycle one above.

Hope that helps

I used to supply helmets made by these guys, but they bailed out of the market due to poor sales! They used to make both open and full face in orange, demon tweeks used to agents for them as well.
