Confused, had to work so only watched last few laps, but i thought a V24 won, although a lot of boats seemed to get the flag at the same time!!!! Not taking anything away from the winner, it was a great show guys. Would I be right in saying years ago you carried on racing untill you had done the required number of laps? Ran from Poole to Bmth and back today and it was sunny and warm....Sods law the race was not today would a been lovellllly

Great weekend !!

Good to meet and put faces to names

And of course the racing was fantastic, really enjoyed every second of it(even the scary bits!!)
We are well happy with our result, never thought we would get anywhere near that! Boat performed really well indeed, especially in the corners, next time we wont be holding back on the start line, and certainly wont be stopping short of the finish line!! , we came around the last turn bouy ans saw every other boat stationary! we panic'd and stopped thinking there was a major accident!! then couldnt get the motor running!! but eventually managed to cross the finish line so next time we'll have our eye on the ball!

Thanks to all that helped us out with one thing and another, and especially to Britt and Jasper at drivers wharf

roll on the next Basic!

Heres the silverware!............

Lets hope so - remember this is not confirmed as of yet. All planning is going well but it will be another week or two before we know that all finances are in place. Will keep everyone informed.

Thanks to everyone at the Royal Motor for a great event we really enjoyed ourselves, we thought Chris's Cat was fantastic. and I am sure that as he get's used to it he'll do very well this season. If anyone does know anybody that may be interested in our Boat C2 she is still for sale and she's ready to race! We'd rather she was out racing than sat in our workshop for the summer. we're only asking £15K. Matt I hope your nose is a lot better today.Richard & Paula
