Quite agree - but what can be done?

Do you remember the Cancer Research race of old?

Big entry list - actually a chance for sports boats and cruisers to race and people wanted to do it.

There used to be literally hundreds of spectator boats - as per all the Poole races.

Not just a case of saying 'those were the days' - but comparitively we had a big sport back then!

i remember coming down 1987 running p20 in sports boat there was 72 boats entered wot a start.and again1988,ithink trophy was called john wright memorial.
