Ok guys,
Got to level with you here, i cannot get a co-pilot i have been in contact with everyone i know, when i tell them the race idea they think it would be fun but when i tell my (Secret Idea) everyone is willing to watch all say you will die.
If no one has any objections i would like to run with ballast of around 60Kg
it will be made of stuff and @ £300 i will run an old small inboard as i cannot get an outboard for my plan cheaply enough.
Are there to be any rules to how far a recorded bounce should be from each time the machine hits the water if travelling at high speed? Blinddog can you answer this!!
The only thing i can say mine will have full BM livery and will be built from scratch out of old stuff, hope to have first trial in the rougher water by Christmas.
If not succesful i will post the trails on u tube if successful nobody will see it till the challange.
Is there any restrictions on prop size, when you see the idea you will buckle up with laughter, if this stuffs it sinks big time.
gaZ

Dont worry, what i'm building is no good in a sharp chop but very good on long swell up to about 5 ft high
If its a sharp chop i sink which is exacly what that Solent's like.
so its likely sum1 will be befor the day is out lol. might spend sum time on mine. thinkin v a razor sharp thing tho i am a big bastard so waterline guessing might be an issue lol

By Fek Jon never never thought you would get that!! , Your a little smarter than i took you for.
Is this allowed??????
The WIG is the 1st idea there is a 2nd plan which i have disscused with blingdog if not which uses an outboard which he agrees would bring the tears of laughter too everyone..
I am doing one of the two.

the race is still on,the plan is to try and help ben with more physio ,i spoke to ben and his father at the video night and they are going to do it as well we are looking to run it in march.get xmas out the way then we can crack on and see who fancys a laugh for a great cause and a top lad
i reckon hamble and back to level with hythe marina would be good, maybe optional on the amount of crew bigbird and myself are going to build ours so we would both be in it,horsepower wise is open to discusion but i think keep it smallish ?

I'm with Tricky, solo suits me.
Blinddog and BigBrird there has got to be the thick end of 40 stone in that boat, may have to give them a consession of an extra 40 hp.
