Has anyone ask to see if they can sponsore the whole class 3 series to see if thay can get trade prices for the racing season??

Or if any of the guys wanted to race in the national championship then they could always leave the boats over here to keep the cost down

They used to be Pete Wilson's main sponsor too.

They definitely do deals for the hill climb and rally boys, and the motocross lot too, so I'm sure there'd be some sort of discount for a group of powerboats

Class IIIC Europeans

SEPA confirm we are hosting the Offshore 3C Europeans in addition to the multi-class National events at Harwich over the last weekend in July. Many will already be aware that there are a number of land based fun events running alongside an action packed weekend of racing, including rock concerts, fun fairs and radio road shows. You may not be aware that we have been working hard, behind the scenes, with the Promoters to find accommodation for drivers, crews and officials. Accommodation lists are available on request. We also hope to be able to offer subsidised fuel.

It would be very helpful for publicity and organisational purposes to have an indication of entrants well in advance. Please see Advance Notice on the link below.

Yes - two cranes and hopefully a floating pontoon crane.

It is hoped that competitors from all over Europe will attend this International Powerboat Festival.
According to the nice people from Harwich who gave a presentation at the ORDA dinner, there are only 2 hotels in Harwich and both are fully booked for weddings. The towns people intend to "accommodate" the racers and officials in their private homes.
Should be cosy - with Marathons, 3C European teams and all the other classes racing at this event!
Good luck to them all.

wasn't there talk of using a de-commissioned car ferry for accommodation?

Failing that, what's happened to the Portland prison ship?
