Confused (from OCR Video thread)

You're confused !! It seems that Powerboat 2011 was such a good idea that all the other clubs want to do it. Unfortunately they all seem to have missed the concept a little bit.
It appears now that the few teams that are left are all a bit confused. Hopefully it will sort itself out over the coming weeks.
It would be helpful from an organisers point of view, to get a rough idea of who (if anyone) wants to go racing, in what class and at what venues !!
I know Allhallows entry form has only been out for a few days but the initial uptake is a bit dissapointing.

Bob

Pass. i thought the general idea that the 150 class was getting good interest. from what i have been hearing and the people who have spoken to me about it. I mean 1800 has not been a popular class and other clubs have had a good response. P1,HONDA uk what ever is had people getting rigs. everywhere but ocr so i guess now is the time to look in another direction. Go back to the old formula that was good. 150 hp. 2.5 mile+ courses and 50 min heats maybe?

Yes !! Except the powers that be are pushing 115,200,350 and Unlimited HP 3.5nm courses !!
At Allhallows we will categorise according to what pre enters !! So on that basis I would guess upto 100, 150, 200 & unlimited ish !!
Then again as long as we get to race boats who gives a s*@t ??

Even bigger pass..... the way i see it with 'powers that be' i cant see why the whole thing has had to get to this state before the knees started jerking rather than letting people lose interest. But then again sometimes people just dont want to listen.

Things will pick up im sure but i lay my last quid that its going to get worse.
Its easier to get new people interested and things than to ressurect enthusiasm into dejected people. I think thats why the entry forms dont fly in quickly.

On a positive note, out of all this confusion i bet a certain class will stand out. only time will tell. I guess for some fun we could hold a sweepstake as to what that will be!.

For the record i will be down for both days, got work sorted.

Oh..... i will try to work out how to do these dvds for you.
