Coniston
So who is going to Coniston then?
Cinzano will be there on Sunday afternoon, to lift onto the road trailer at the North end of the Lake and take round to the Slipway.
Planning to be gone by Wednesday morning.
We have a crane booked, who else will need one and like to share, if so when do you need it and we can all liaise ?

We'll be there but we don't need a road trailer - see you there!

Cookee IF you get a National or World record you will need the services of the crane to be weighed. So I am trying to ascertain when this may be. Last year the crane guy took £400 per day from everyone as we were not all organised.

I will be there all week but wont need a crane !! Might be worth the marathon fleet getting in touch with Alison to let her know how many big boats are going as it will be a bit tight in the pits.

Whilst it would be nice to get a World record we need to have finished a lot more races! I'm sure the Marathon boats would be happy to stay in the water to make more room? Trailers could then be stored out of the way.

Ahh, that old bugbear, finishing a race !
They are quite strict as to how many boats can stay in overnight; as I recall they are only allowed to use the National Park jetty in the day. The tractor has just about enough grunt to get us back up the slipway! At least this year the Cafe will be fully open, and with luck it may not rain quite so much !
