cost of measurement certificate

I see that the RYA charges WAFFI's £15.00 for one, how does this compare for say a 3C boat?

Dont need them anymore for national racing you just apply for a "Log Book" and they are free !!

i thought Measurement Certs were a requirement for international events and the logbooks were ok for national... BTW a replacement Cert is a bit cheaper

correct but.. you do if you want to enter the worlds ... have you tried to get a copy of an old one ? then you only need a renewal

Thanks Adrian, tried to get a copy of the old one, but was told the boat is not registered anymore and would have to be re measured.

what is the cost of getting it measured in addition to the RYA fee ?

perhaps we could get together and get a measurer (any offers?) to do three at once, Neal (skyline) and myself also need one,

Asked the RYA earlier this year about getting a cert but was told as I was only doing basic I didn't need one, so don't know about costs. Assumed if we did national next year we would need one! However log books are good for us as Bob said, they are free.
