So come one, which bar-room racer accused you of a conspiracy? Name & shame - unless of course, it's me, in which case, I was only joking, guvna.

My info is second hand, but completely believable. I'd rather not expose my 'snout', but it was doing the rounds over the weekend. Maybe the accuser will have the balls to stand and deliver publically, maybe he won't.

On a lighter note and so that JF's blood pressure can be allowed to drop a bit, I just thought that I would post a couple of items that will be auctioned at the BPRC Powerboat Ball on the 25th. We do have Model and Dancer Jodie Kidd kindly offering to have lunch at the Prospect in Cowes with whoever offers the most mulla plus a half hours up close and personal Salsa lesson, brave girl!!

Also, just to make Flying Fish's mouth water, the following ORIGINAL programmes from the Sir Max Aitkin’s extensive library of powerboat racing memorabilia.

Ct Progs

Mouth watering indeed Mike.I bought mine at the Post Office in the High Street in Old Portsmouth, whilst the likes of Tramontana II and Flying Fish were running their trials out of the Camber.I was just a grubby apprentice down there in those days. Now if W.D.& H.O Wills films of the sixties Putney Calais races were up for auction, that would really have me giving the moths an airing.
