Dates!!!
Sorry All,
I was mis-informed yesterday about the date for the Honda AGM. Was told it had changed to mid March instead of 29th - So Will check and confirm today.
Sorry to mess you around but don't want to clash with that one as several boats won't make it.
Watch this space!

Appologies!! have been on holiday. I am sure we can conjure up a couple from the Westcountry Watersports Club.
Keep me informed.
Bob
PS We generally run out from Elphinstone normally plenty of space and easy slip launching.

The event is very much a turn up and join in. Everyone is welcome. No rules as no racing. Only payment is up to the individual; if you want stay over then accommodation is down to you if you wat to eat fillet steaks the same. We want to just get together, see a load of sexy boats, eat grub and be merry and talk stuff. Some ideas have gathered for future events that we can all talk about. You all will have ideas too.
I'll have more info next week about where to launch and park etc. Numbers would be good. Several people have said yes so should be fun.
No formality, just boating, eating and a few social beers of course.
So Just remember its 15/16th June!! Come on over!

If it is in the June time then it might clash with this.
Should be a lot more boats there if this is the case

The Hotel over Mount Batten has plenty of space, close to the barbican pubs and clubs (via water taxi) as well as just across the water from Queen Annes Battery, slip 30seconds walk and they serve Blackthorn
Only an idea, heres the link

Devon/Cornwall Meeting
Hi Everyone,
got talking to Chris Parsonage last night and he's offering up this idea:
We have a bash at his place at Cawsand Bay/Kingsand. Sounds a bit strange at first but he owns the hotel and beach and is offering to put a tractor on the beach for those not wishing to raft up on his moorings. He has 4 rooms pencilled in and is offering a special deal for anyone wishing to stay. If people are prepared to share there are quite a few beds. We could also run a rib to support movement. The bar can stay open for as long as.
So the idea is panning out for Saturday boating and lunch ...Saturday night Kingsand and Cawsand and Sunday boating and Sunday lunch somewhere.
The only problem would be if there is a S.Easterly!!
Who's up for it?

Will be seeing Chris P this weekend. He reckons its ok to launch in Cawsand. Hes i to lay on a tractor. I'll probably launch at QAB others from Mountbatten. If anyone wants help let me now and we'll sort. I'll chat to QAB tomorrow.
Who wants a room at the Class 1 'shrine'? I think it'll work out about 20 squids a head if sharing. First come first serve.
I'll see if we can get a volunteer to act as water taxi for anyone needing to get back to Plymouth ...but Chris reckons plenty of other accommodation around.
Remember there is no great plan...just a get together and see what we want to do as conditions permit.
I had a night out there recently and great fun. For those thinking about children, a much better venue than Plymouth on a saturday night!!!
