I've cancelled the services of the men in waders who volunteered to observe turn bouys 2 and 3...

U.I.M Rule 800.8.2 is min depth 4 metres, we have 2 areas of the course 3.3M to 3.7m on the tide heights given by PLA for the 19th/20th,the rest of the course runs into the shipping channel.

The U.I.M heading for section 800 is "General Rules for World and Continental Championships", I'm not sure whether Allshallows falls under Continental, its certainly not World. However if we do qualify as a Continental Championship then as it states in 800 we should also have 15 boats registered from the previous year who have actively raced in 3 countries to gain Continental Championship status......

Back to reality, we are holding an OCR National and Basic Race on Saturday and Sunday, we can accept all entries for basic apart from canopy boats, this is approved by the RYA subject to the updated instructions.

A continent is one of several large landmasses on Earth. They are generally identified by convention rather than any strict criteria, but seven areas are commonly regarded as continents – they are (from largest in size to smallest): Asia, Africa, North America, South America, Antarctica, Europe, and Australia.

The term "the Continent" used predominantly in the European isles and peninsulas, such as Great Britain, Ireland, Sardinia, Sicily and the Scandinavian Peninsula, means mainland Europe, although it can also mean Asia when said in Japan.
It aint a european championship race.................

Jay, you have obviously annoyed the big boys, probably did not support one of their latest stupid ideas.
This 'new' British rule is your punishment.
