Sorry for asking stupid questions but I'm new in this stuff

The other thing to remember is that the UIM and RYA rules aren't always the same, so an XR2 MAY be ok in the UK but not Europe ............. for instance!

Don't think you will be able to run anyway dude as your rig is too short! Think the minimum length is around 22'

Thanks for repllies guys.
I'm happy that I will be able to run in couple races than.
Unfortunetly I'm from Poland and I will have alot of driving there but will try to be there next year
So whats up with the future of IIIC ?? If xr2 will be illegal what engines will there be?? I believe 200xs is a 2.5 litre so it don't fit IIIC class
Or maybe there is a modern 2.0ltre merc I don't know about

The 2.5 200XS is allowed in IIIC because it is a "Green" engine, and that is what everyone is using now!

Nope, all the ones I've seen are definitely 'Black'.

But for 2.5 litre you need to have longer boat (min lenght 6.5)
Ok I will try to start in some races next year and will see what will happened next. I can always repaint my XR2 to make it "GREEN"

UIM says 6.5m but not RYA, still 6.2m, so you should be OK for UK.

Even if it dosnt measure for 3c you will be able to race with the fleet on the
F200 series rule. Look foward to meeting you. Dont know if your thinking about it, but there will be a few UK teams in Northern Italy in september would be great if you could get there and meet some of us. Little bit nearer home.

Thanks for invitation CB1. I would be very happy if I could meet you there
The problem is that I'm starting racing this year and I have only license for racing in Poland, but if I would manage to get international license till september I will be there for 1000000000%. And if not I will try to get my boat and be there as a spectator.
Can you please tell me where can I find more info and rules about F200 class

Why don´t you come to Sweden and nNynashamn for the EC race? The ferry from Poland lands in Nynashamn, couldn´t be closer...
