In the modern/flashy sort of way I can only think of the Outerlimits Lucas Oil P1 boat,
The only one that really grabs me though is the old ACME Class 1 boat, was white with red and blue patches, basic but effective.
Was recreated on my uncles P21 (pic).

Not to sure about the silly toad with its tongue out down the side of the hull, but the bold colours look cool in the you tube video........I think its about three quarters of the way through.

Although the Bud boat does look nice.

I always liked Richard carr's "Lethal Menace" with its matching truck and cobra car. That was awesome in its day! Unfortunately havent got a pic.

Yuk!

I far preferred the Cougar cat of George Morales boat all in white.

Top bloke, did a deal with the CIA to run narcotics into Florida, and exported arms out to the contras.

US Class One racing in the 80's.

Georges wife got to see her husband again, they sent his head in a box to her.

Any pix of that race boat?

According to 'Brownie', all those stories about Moralles are fiction. He was killed in a car crash, and Alan (Brownie) knows someone who witnessed it.

Lethal magic was very pretty especially for its time!! Walked down the pontoons at Salterns many times to have a look!! Better looking than the cat imo but sorry no pics! Need to get TD to put some of his Miami boat show pics up, some really tasty ones on there!!

When I say 'stories', I'm refering to his alleged murder / be-heading etc. the drug dealing, money laundering, arms deals etc are I believe all true and not in dispute. Not sure that makes him a 'top bloke' though.

During that period, Brownie was the front man for for Cougar during their 5 year US time on 188 NE st. He says Crouse likes a drama story, they sell better than reality.

Maybe Mr Currington could clarify.

I was only having some fun - best leave those years to history or better still for Oliver Stone's new movie!
