Any news from Harwich? Heard rumors here in Sweden that the weather was set for a Sterling gold. Or as we in Sweden say when something is easy: it's like stealing candy from children.

I will respond properly to this later, but I think that is probably the most complimentary words you could say about Ian! I'm sure I speak for all when I say thank you.

Jon, I sure hope I did not offend anyone by my post. In the context of the tragic event just after I posted I realise you can read my post in several ways. My intentions was 100% to highlight Ians superior skills in the rough! The racing comunity here in Sweden is absolutely devastated by the tragic news.

R.I.P Ian

Jon I knew exactly what you meant, and posted my reply to let you know that, and hopefully to let anyone else who wasn't sure know that it was a massive compliment to Ian.
He was indeed a master at the wheel in the more challenging conditions. We will all miss him, his humour and his driving skills very much indeed.

Ian Stirling...

As a slightly humorous side note amidst great sorrow.
When Ian first joined this forum in 2005 (following his aquiring of his new nickname from Chaos), I mistakenly miss spelt his name on here. He didn't say a word, but apparently said to one of his close friends, "ere, that Fuller bloke's spelt my name wrong!". I was informed, corrected the mistake, and never spelt his name wrong again!

Ironically, you also spelt his name wrong in your post on Saturday and I thought that could bring rise to the misinterpretation of your words, hence my clarification..

So, Stirling was indeed a sterling fellow.

Here's where he got his new nickname...
