What did you need safety for at 62 mph!
First run out (since Isle of Man) with fishing tackle + kit, no prop prep, reasonable cross winds pushing the side down and 95 fuel...
66.8
0-63 in no time ;-)

I reckon over 75 and a fair bit more with a 280. Haven't been able to test that yet as awaiting loan engine. But it was your mate's son who spied the GPS at that speed!

Dale in a 225?Ithought some thing was goin on when Bert(Scotts dad,Dales grand dad)rang me earlier to arrange a piss up down New Brighton.THREE boats in TEAM WILLIAMS next year? One running in jerryhatricks class,if we pass the medical,why not?Three generations in one race,must be a bit of a record there,another one for your c.v. Scott

Not a chance! Dale and I are now fishing buddies. As 225 says, the quiet engine doesn't scare the fish!
We fished for 2 minutes, caught nothing and then thought running a quick test would be more fun.
As for Scott? He's past it now...he wouldn't be able to cope with the speed.
