Hi Chris

Nice to hear from you and i hope you are well.

You ask for a list of runners and riders for Hotboats and you know what they say wait and see. I dont think anyone else has posted their runners and riders so it seems that keeping these things to yourself is the order of the day, so lets just wait and see at the start of the season.

I know you won't be racing in Hotboats as your boat doesn't conform to the rules so i guess like everyone you are just curious and rightly so.

My godness it's nice to be the topic of conversation, and lets all work together shall we and stop worring about who's doing what after all you are all racing at Pwllheli with us unless you know something we don't and we in turn are with you at Littlehampton. Thats what i call working together to support the sport of Powerboat Racing .

Kind regards to you all

Denise

We could measure in length and with the power to weight ratio would only have to add 20kg. So who knows!!!!!

Even Gary has to work sometimes, and the Hotboats Racing Association take their job very seriously and it's my turn in the barrel today.

When i last looked in a mirror that didnt crack i was of the female variety.

Thank you for your good wishes

Kind regards

Just thinking:
If you ran a 280 on your boat, it would just F&ck off!
Your boat is just slightly too heavy for the 2 litre, unless you get the right sea state and wind direction. But for the same sortof weight with a 280......

You should do so at the next basic race just to take the piss.

If I can't get the hydrolift to go well enough I'll probably lob a 2.5 on it for kicks - as you say, it'll just **** off. Can't remember how fast Neil had it.

Yes, she told me that.....

2.5 280's would become the standard engine there, and all the almost good boats from 2 litre could actually perform?

Powerboat racing is a funny old sport ain't it, must be one of the best kept secrets in motorsport, and so easy to see why it has so little support. If those involved in it can't get information, what chance has the public.

Having looked at the RYA info, it seems we can expect up to 20 boats on the startline, why can't we be told who they are?

It is funny. Last year when I was trying to organise some boats to do a Sweeden race the boats were all asking who exactly was going, but at the same time not to tell anyone they were interested....

Wierd!

Why is that do you think?

Could always work backwards to get to the answer.
Who isn\'t doing Hotboat this year.
It\'s not on my agenda but a basic will be.

Hi Bluefin

At last a way to try and work out this closely guarded secret, work out who says their not racing Hotboats and the Ones that are left possibly are.

However you then have to work out if those who say they wont be racing Hotboats really are and just don't want to tell you!!!!!

As for Tony wanting to know who is doing what, Tony you must know that a lady will not always give away her secrets and i am no different.

The term is wait and see it leads to more excitment that way and we all need excitment!

Regards To You All

Denise

i really do not understand why it is all a big secret, surely its best to show who is racing /what boats they are using and get some interest going to promote the series. if i was racing in a series i would want people to know and im sure any sponsors would aswell, just my opinion
