Bob, is the basic race running alongside/in the heat races or is it a seperate event all together?
If its in the heats which heats are the guys who are entering the basic competing in?
Hope that makes sense!

Anyone wishing to attend that is short of gear just let me know at time of entry, dont just turn up on Sat morning needing a navigator, Helmet, jacket and boat. (give us a bit of time to help) and anyone attending with spare gear please bring it along.

Always happy to help in any way we can IF you guys want to race we can make it happen !!

Bob
Its 'ALL OUT TOGETHER' or OCR and the rest following behind,Hopefully more people with enter it will make it easier to hide in the pack

Nope makes no sense at all !! There are no National races, all 4 heats are open basic. Looks like Nic has read his race instructions.

No Bob I can't read, you answered it in the above text when I originally asked about loaning kit from proper racers if we (Basic) were racing all on our own.
Hows the entries going,I'm suprised more regular racers arn't using this as a good test or beginers having a go.As my back's giving me grief thanks for guaranteeing nice calm flat water. It might be free entry but the Chiropractor will have cost me £98 by the weekend but I'm determined to race
Cheers Nic

Dont worry, I'll read them on the way over to sunny Ilfracombe

Did I scan over something that said people can only enter 2 basics in the season?
(if so)
Nick & freedon, which heats are you going in if not all 4? I'll be plodding around as I'm in the boat with my sister, its only her 2nd time in the boat, the first was watching the hondas in Plymouth, flat calm and sunny!! Dont want to put her off as she seems quite interested in getting invloved in the ski racing in the near future.

Hi I thinks its only 2 Event licenses in one season, one event license would cover one event ie 2 days if its a two day event,so you/we can enter all four races this weekend.if you want to race more than two events then you need a full license but some of the costs of the event license are offset if you then get a full license in the same season but you also then need a medical.Dan my passenger has only been in the boat twice once calm and once with a bit of chop-he thought the chop was like a roller coaster ride so he might be educated at the weekend.I'll just turn the intercom off if he moans to much saying that I'll probably be plodding round with you then.its ok going fast on your own its a bit different with the chop of other boats to cope with.Cheers Nic

I am a bit concerned about one of the safety team tho , apparently he has booked in for a full body wax.something to do with the safety tan.
