Awesome, that's the week after my wedding!

If you'll transport all our boats from the ferry in Portsmouth to the race etc and back the same as we're doing then there's a good chance of me doing just that!

That' the trouble y'see, we'll all have to bring tow vehicles that way which suddenly pushes the price up to £600 return just for one race!
I'd really like to come across though, I loved a FF race I did last year! I'll see who may be interested and see if we can get enough tow helpers on here, it'd be great to help support the UK scene too!
Got any spare boats?

James

So who else is coming over to sunny Guernsey then? There's still time to book!

8 people said they'd join if it's cheap enough and so far we've got one team definately joining us for the first race, with Bob coming later in the year!

£175 is a bloomin good deal to get your boats all the way over here, can't say fairer than that, give me a pm and I'll get you in touch with Condor so you can enjoy a proper season's racing for once - the way it used to be!!

Awesome! There's 2 campsites, les Vaugrats and Fauquet Valley, but both are across the island from the racing.
'The Yacht' is the hotel we use all the time, it's metres from the action and well priced. If you contact them, tell them it's for the GPA powerboating and they'll do a special rate.
Alternatively, 'Diablo' on here has a guest house in the family and will no doubt be happy to do a great rate!!

As they've not posted publically about it yet, I'd rather leave it for them to say just in case they're keeping it quiet for some reason.

Regarding campsite, the vaugrat campsite is right next to where I keep the revenger and we store all the race equipment. I'd be happy to grab you and the pooch each day if you'd like to camp.

In all fairness, the other one, Fauxquet Valley is a bit more upmarket and literally 1 minute from my house, but that's a long drive in Guernsey terms!! Either way I'll happily ferry you about.

Cheers, James

I am planning to do at least one that is on our calendar, I was hoping to do next weeks but it is a bit late now and we are off to first French Race the following weekend. Although if weather looks any good next week we might pop over in the boat.
