Lid Question

OK, So I get the gist of the rules - BS something or another or equivalent.

So what about EN966? e.g. An open face microlight helmet?

No open face helmet meets the rules, as the definition for the helmet standard used is a full face definition. You can ask the manufacturer for an equivalency statement for an open faced helmet. That is what I had to get.

Is this cos EN996 is inferior to BS6658B, or some other reason I've missed?
