What lifejackets are people using in canopied boats?

Cool, Thanks. Was misreading the rules that it had to adhere to both the 7.5kg one, and and 508 one.

You definately dont want the automatic ones, and you want to velcro the string bit up and out of the way so there is no chance of it going off/ being pulled accidentally!

There is a version - I have not seen yet but will be looking at - which includes two foam strips, giving a 1kg boyancy on the shouders, which is usefull for the safety harness - acts as a padding.

Surprised CB1 has'nt commented on this! Last time we were at bournemouth for a race he had a barny with the scrutineer and had to tie a ratchet strap round his b**locks to satisfie him about his life jackets! Was well funny!
