Been very thin for the RIBs all year - but the others pulled out yesterday - after I had booked hotels and everything!

I would have loved to race, but in the rough we (on previous form and breakages excluded) would have a great race with Ian Sterling in front of everyone else except the V24s, and in the flat would be beaten by the cats for absolutely no reason at all! I now have no chance of winning the free trip to Egypt (leader of the Champs after this race gets free entry!) as there needs to be at least one other competitor start the race to be awarded full (400) points - I would just get 40! So I have decided to put the money I will save towards the Egypt trip.

Hey Roofer are you racing then?

Boats nowhere near ready, hope to have it finished for records week at coniston. Hope to be doing quite a few basics next year if the new license is still available.

It would be great to have a 'Boatmad' crowd at Conniston! I think we may have C13 there again - I will be there with TWO boats, Still going to try nail the V24 record, and I want to get the Unlimited Monohull Inboard record, and earn a gold star!
