Torquay wasn't ROUGH compared to The Annie Beakhurst Memorial Race at Poole. Ashleigh said to me that she thought she knew what stuffing was after Torquay, but after Poole she really does know now!!!!! lol

Graham, I think its probably fair to say that both could be considered as rough. In Torquay down at the far end off Plymouth was very rough, in Poole off the Needles near Bridge Bouy was very rough, Poole Bay was actually good for us: but then we are nearly twice the length and probably 10 times the weight !
Having said that with a few years of 3B behind me, many years ago, I do appreciate your comments ...

I aim to be there on the Sunday - hope for good weather & sea conds.
Have advised Shirley I can 'MC' the prize-giving if req'd.
How many entries so far ? - assume OCR/Class 3 B & C / Sports-boats, as per Bob's 2011 season.

True - but launching has to be @ The Marina, so everything is at one place, & its not too far a walk across the swing-bridge to the seafront.
I would think use of Banjo Road, use of the lawned area, etc., would be at a cost, & with such an entry, not feasable.
