Lymington

Who's going to Lymington then?

I'm coming over along with a few others from Guernsey from Friday night to Monday lunch and it'd be great to meet up with anyone from here and put faces to names

James

Brilliant, Cheers for that! Saw you guys at carteret earlier this year, we moored alongside you in a twin engine ballistic.

See you at the weekend hopefully!

Hi James - would be good to meet up - I'm not racing now, but will be around for the day.

Hi Adam,

I wonder if Larby could get a couple of lifters and your Yam spares as hand luggage, might set the security beepers off though!

Adam - Would indeed be great to meet up! Could you PM me your number and I'll get in touch when we're across.

Steve - I'm going in my merc so have a very big boot I can fill if you need stuff bringing across?

Appeal!!

I'm having a bit of an issue finding decent accomodation. Everywhere is either full or stupidly expensive!

Does anyone know of somewhere I could stay? Really don't care what it is so long as it's within walking distance of the action and pubs!

One place has a suspicious amount of room, 'Durlston House'. Does anyone know it? Is it any good?

Cheers, James

Tell me about it!
It all checks out ok, but it seems odd when everything else in the area has no room at all, that they seem empty, despite being really central.

Maybe I'm just gonna have to book it and cross my fingers.

Yep, been there done that. UK google street view is boring. Over here we all pointed up when we saw the car. People are gonna wonder what the hell was going on above Guernsey that day!

Thanks for the offer mate but I am still at the new transom stage at the moment so no rush for the plates.

Have a great weekend

We have got most of the BIBOA officials booked in here.
The owner Steve had rooms available last time I spoke to him.
All rooms en suite clean and tidy

01590677364 he does not read his email!

Sweet, that's Durlston house, same as I've just booked! Glad to hear it's ok, the poor bugger is even getting up at midnight tomorrow to let us in!

Fingers crossed the weather lets us across!

That sounds like a fun race - I take it we're stopping for the night over there?

All I know at the moment is that GPA (James) are coming to Lymington, and have an idea for the Marathon race..... initial idea is something along the lines of..... Friday Drivers to Guernsey...... Sat GPA hold their local races....... Sun....... Guernsey to Drivers.

There are no dates at the moment, this discussion is only a chewing of the fat to see if it is possible... will update after Lymington
