Marathon 2010

Right then.

The season is rolling up fast, we have firm events at Harwich & Cowes, both of which are gonna be awesome, and have taken considerable input (more than most will ever realise) by the promoters & organisers.
So any Marathon, or potential Marathon racers out there, we really, really need your help & support right now.
We simply can't let this great series end up like so many others have, even though I understand the many changes & extra costs are frustrating.
Get them entries in, get them boats ready and join the circus.
This year, with the landmark 50th at Cowes, and first running of the Harwich event, promise to be once in a lifetime experiences. If the Harwich organisers get the entries we're hoping for, next year will most likely see the course wanted for this year utilised (there'll be more time to get things in place next year) so we should be visiting Ostend. A return to racing across international borders would be just great.
None of it can happen, or grow without entries.

Who reckons they have what it takes? Open Ocean Racing is quite demanding, so if you're the lightweight flakey type, I'd stay at home.

If we survive Cowes in one piece we'll have a go at Harwich!

Harwich is the end of July. so any problems with the boat can be fixed well before Cowes.
I've got rooms booked at Hawich, so book up quick it is not to be missed!
