I would be guessing but Torquay will obviously include Marathon and hopefully Guernsey will sort out it's problems and run their event in 2012, then there's Poole and maybe a season ender with a UKOBA event again?

Why do I want to check.

If you think the PR is good for this race then whoopi it should be a great race for all those that have entered.

I thought this was a free speach forum

1: RB12 was sold as a business and out to make profit and I see nothing wrong with that My beef from day one is that they never produced a business plan regarding what you got for your money other than your going round Britain.
The entry list has been top secret and looking at the so called list I think you will find some are selling there boats and others don't even have a race boat.

2: I don't have a problem with the marine industry in general I just get pi--ed of with people who make out how they love the sport so much then let down prospective racers.

Off shore racing is in decline for many reasons and some of those reasons are within.

If you think anyones making money on powerboat racing you must be on drugs.

I suspect Mr McGreggor has HEAVILY subsidised RB12 and will continue to do so...just getting back what he's put into Cowes as a 'promotion of RB12' would take some doing...that's unless they have one mother of a sugar daddy sponsor, which I rather doubt.

Dream on.

You need to stop seeing every other human being on the planet as your enemy, coz they aint.

Were did i say they have made a profit.

I said it was sold to us at the launch as a business unlike RB8 please read the initial spill on the race from Linx Sport. I know they will never make a profit because it has been put together so badly.

Some who provide parts for my boat did make a profit and there delivery times wern't just slow or bad but appalling. They gave me the delivery dates.
(By the way I not refering to Mr Mcgreggor )
Not sure I mentioned every man on the planet only a couple and then i'm only asking them to be honest.
Lets be honest most talk about it on here than put there money where there mouth is

Still another new racer will slip away into the sunset.

I give up

I said they were out to make profit.

Is that the same as they HAVE made a profit

There intial literature said that this was run as a business. I have also stated I 'm not bothered. I only pay an entree fee for something I want to do and I want to know what I get for it. I don't give a rats ass if there is a profit

Have you been drinking

I think it would be hard to HAVE made profit at this point ( still 9 months till the race), don't you, so future tense in your post is correct.

Drinking....If you knew me a little better, you'd know that's more than a bit unlikely.
