Yes your right Barry.

The weather window we had is closing and by tomorrow the light Northerly
winds that where forcast in the channel will have gone round to W/SW force 4 and increasing over tide.

So it didnt seem a good idea to get beaten up getting to Brest with another
1800 miles to go and further deteriorating weather down the Portuguese coast

Thanks for your help with the Yellow Brick Tracker Barry will catch up with you soon

So we are back on RED and will keep you all posted

Chris / Gordon

The weather will not play ball and we have decided to call off the attempt for this year.We have been on standby for the last 6 weeks and Mike Deacon has been studying the weather constantly.
The secret is to wait for the weather to be settled in the Channel over Biscay , Portugal and in the Med.

We were looking at leaving London 1300hr on Monday but strong Northerly winds forcast across Biscay and down the Potuguese coast would have made the trip impossible to cope with.

Anyone interested look on XC weather which is a superb site

Gordon/Chris & Mike
