From 'Buttercup' as the former owner (HIM) used to call the Hunton to one of Craig Barrie's finest.
Great choice!

Thanks for all the positive comments.
Next year seems a very long way off but worth waiting for!

I'm guessing if you are going to do P1 you will be going with the 525 EFI's?

If we do supersport then yes, but if we do evolution, then maybe something larger

That would have been my next question. They don't mention the weight of the boat on their web site.
I was assuming the Dragon might be about the weight of the Donzi 38 who seem to be restricted to 525's as I understand the Evolution class is at 3.5kg/per hp. and Supersport is 4.5kg/hp I believe.

Hi Cookee
They came 6 out of of 12 but the boat had not even been in the water before and engine was still running in guardian mode so unable to rev at the required level.
Apparently it handled beautifully though and they were seeing an easy 90mph and its only going to get better!

Found the report on OSO - sounds like there is a hell of a lot to come - can't believe they beat half the fleet in guardian mode - the engines even shut off a couple of times if I read it right! Sure it's not going to be too fast?

Hi Cookee
Well if its too fast we'll just have to stick a canopy on and do Supervee - always an option!
As part of the P1 rules we have to add extra weight (see Ben's post earlier). Depending on which class we do, we will have to add a fair amount. As yet we're not sure what that would do to the top end.
Nice to have that problem though!

At least then you could add the weight exactly where you want it!
