No offence taken.
Its always a difficult one to balance for the organisers i.e competitors needs, sponsors needs, safety etc etc. I am sure there are a 101 ways to do it. I'm just happy to be out there racing in such a great boat and enjoying some good racing!
Thanks for the kind comments re the RIB We'll be doing our best!
...now I just need to come up with a new name, now the true Red Devil has gone to Mark Pink Devil just does'nt have the same feel to it

Since the boat was born in Fla. it could always be 'Pink Flamingo' or you could incorporate the gender of your co-driver and name it after a famous old US drag car 'Dragon Lady'

Yes there was now that you mention it. It was a 33 (35 w/o the bathing platform) powered by twin 550s that ran in "B" Class.
It's on one of the Freeze Frame videos.

The boat looks even better in the flesh. The pearl really picks up the light. And the motors sound fantastic.

Wouldn't it be cool if you could get a gin palace to use as a camera boat, and film some gnarly high-speed close passes!

Don't be ridiculous! that would be highly dangerous, foolhardy, and 'dumb ass'!
Anyone who saw us doing that would be well with their right to throw fish hooks in our faces for being such shmucks.
Just think of the implications with everyones insurance!!!
Please don't make any more silly suggestions, you stupid boy. (pike)

Yes, that would certainly be a very 'naughty' thing to do
Will let you know when the boat is back from Italy and we'll organise something as that would be great!
I think we are going to try to make the drivers wharf poker run in June if we can, its a week before the German GP so it may be tight but we'll see.
Will let you know how we get on in Malta, with only a few hours real driving time its going to be very interesting to see how she goes in a race. Hopefully we'll kick ass!
