Have you decided which class it is aimed at? I'm hoping it will be class E with Nick and Jon and our new boat - more competition is good!

As for the pic, you've already done that to death, so it can't get any worse for me and you will continue to be punished.
And you Ring, are in big trouble.

I'm sure you'll both be well out of our league with ya fancy new stepped boats, but we'll make the numbers up for you..

But isn't that what makes it interesting, there are a lot more variables than that and you have a 2 season start on us with that boat, also steps certainly don't mean trophies!
Having said that we will be trying for the top step - you can be sure of that!

The thinking for the 1st one is twin Merc 6.2L small blocks pumping out 350hp each so that means Class D but it will be capable of taking any combination of either petrol, diesel or even Opti' outboards!!

Promises promises. I am afraid that over the months ahead we will simply HAVE to post that pic at least once a month if only to put a grin on everyones face in this 'orrible grey old world. Just look upon it as a service to the powerboat industry Jon.

Maybe the 34' will be more evolutionary rather than revolutionary as motoring scribes all like to say in the car design world

Back on topic.....
Spent a few hours with Mike 'permatan' Ring today. Managed to keep him sufficiently fed with biscuits, marshmallows and muffins for him to let me snap a couple of pics of the latest 34 plug in build.
Coming along very quickly indeed, he certainly doesn't f*ck about! Looks like it'll be one very nice rough water boat. Seriously fine entry fwd, and at a full 34', quite a monster.
Looking forward to a blast in it.
Forgot to mention, he picked up the lunch bill too!

The sorry truth of the matter is , I paid for lunch because of 'Sleight of hand' and a position shuffle by Fuller when it came to paying at the till !
Mike ,
P.S.
Muffins and biscuits were FOC. !!!

Yeah, tis easy to outwit an 'old'n'.
Be interesting to see which 'old'n' comes out on top tomorra! Reckon you'll have Lloyd over easy peezy, he's REALLY old.
Joking aside, it's looking really good Mike, can't wait for testing.

Ok Ok seeing all that hard work in these new great photos maybe a bit more aggressive wording could be appropriate
how about ...
Ring powercraft evolutionary and revolutionary design for tomorrows boating today
or
Ring powercraft evolutionary design leading to a revolutionary outcome for the serious boater
or
Ring powercraft at the forefront of success and achievements in offshore boating
or
Ring powercraft simply bring biscuits and you too could be one of the offshore boys ye ha
or somefink like that ... is that more aggressive Mr Cookee

Nothing wrong with being evolutionary, but I was hoping our boat would be more revolutionary for this side of the pond and for endurance racing at least, I am obviously aware that it wouldn't be unique in the US although the bottom design should be quite different from anything else.

Haa ha ... I sense another slogan needed ...
Cookee ... don't let your bottom let you down
Cookee ... for a better bottom
Cookee ... bottoms are our business
Cookee ... trust in our bottom you know it makes sense
Bottoms up
