There’s a new Marathon Race Team on the block.

Two 70 year old "Old Duffa’s" Mike Ring & Mike Lloyd plus our "minder" Andy Crabb have joined forces to race next year in a new Ring 34 only because we have to fulfil our obligations as senior citizens to the youngsters currently racing in Marathon who obviously need to be shown how it's done.

I'll have to ask the Skipper. It would have to be his decision.

Thanks for the interest.

Shouldn't you old boys have a pair of 'Petters', or 'Mermaids', or even 'Listers' or something?

You gonna give ML one of those suction stick on steering wheels? ala Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.....Turn right Ruprect!!!

You should get 'tubbs' as your #4 man. total combined age of team........367, he could look after the catering too.

Would be a relatively small boat 'in class' with them. You'd have to fight for it then. Most of the competitive B class stuff is IRO 40'.

That's not to say it wouldn't do well, just seems daft to pick a fight with bigger boats.

Is ML's boat a rib or hard version then?

And the ilmores are now at 725 Hp, as are going in the cinzano boat.

Ilmore are also devloping a super charged version of the V10 and they are saying pos 850 - 900Hp for them!
