According to Dave Simpkins there are 11 2 litre boats, 3 RIBS and 4 V24s going over on the ferry. Roy Smith is already out there so that makes 12 for 2 litre. Think there might be a few local boats joining in for F200.

There are definitely 19 boats booked on the ferry and that is the final number!

Hello John, Mark....

19 boats (including Roy who will be there a day early) will be going to Guernsey.

There are also some F200 and Basic boats from the Islands who will be racing with us.

Heres to a cracking weekend. See you all on Friday....

It looks likle we are all racing in one race!

Fugging Excellent Organisers

The Ozzies race their class1, class3 ( 6,4 and 2 litre ) and their local class ( Production ) all in one race as well. It is particularly good spectator wise, and makes a big event out of 4 smaller eventlets...

Lets hope this catches on a bit....

All boats in one big race?
I am sure that used to happen. Oh, that was in the dark ages. When there were 60+ boats in National races, most boats were sponsored, events too.
When a race took place over 3x 20 mile laps.

Anyone for 1993?

Well in the safety briefing they are hoping to make it a single start though initially it was going to be two, but at least you have quite a bit of space from the start to the second mark, but hell be carefull there are loads of lumps of granite eyeing up your gear boxes if you really get your navigation wrong!

Can't wait to see you all, btw I am a guard/mark boat lurking around the bottom, the second one you will see after Hanois !

Morgs - Thank you for helping out - without people like you we wouldn't be able to race - I hope we only meet ashore!!
