it will be interesting to see how you fair against offshore b class as you will both be on the same start run.

b class

because ocr and orda have put on joint venues we all have the same start run,ocr then peel off to do their laps while offshore carry on for a larger lap, then we all join again for the final strait/finish.It works perfect and is a great spectical for the thousands and thousands of spectators:It has been quite interesting as to who gets to the first mark first, bob will tell you more about that

Yes !! We have used this format since Last years WWRC Ilfracombe Race is to all Muster and Start together, Offshore (all classes) & OCR (all classes) with the Offshore classes doing a bigger course around the outside of the OCR. I works really well.

I has been a great format this season, i can see just one problem for next year. If both ocr and offshore have 'B' class racing how are the timekeepers going to be able to keep tabs on it. It could get confussing......

They only go by numbers not prefix !! Just means we need to be carefull not to have duplicate numbers.

The RYA don't allow any duplicate numbers in Offshore unless it's 1 for British Champion I suppose?

They do at the moment in different classes. They even dismissed our request at ORC to stop issuing duplicate numbers which is why we will have to be careful to monitor it ourselves.
