Yes, I am about to ask John Moore to put it up on the BPRC web site for sale via paypal. It's a great film, only 30 mins long but stunning, I am repeating myself but it's true.

You're not supposed to suck the rolled up 'nifty' up it too!

Pretty good turnout, 74 people. including Marcus (blue Marlin), the Greek mob (blue FPT), and Mikko & Mrs (VildaRib)

It was a good aftenoon, film was great, watched it again when I got home with the wife and kids, even they liked it!

I know what I'm about to say has nothing to do with RB8 other than some of you guys know Breni. I want to say a big thank you to her for not only looking after me for the last 3 days checking my old dad is ok looking after her 4 kids all while going through a very messy divorce.
She ain't winged once at me for being stupid even though it messed this weekend away. Also all the support she gave me and the boys on the race.

I am a lucky guy

Breni I LOVE YOU

Rb08 Film

A good well balanced record of the event. We even a had a commentary where the narrator didn`t have his trousers on fire, and I`ve seen a few of those especially from the U.S.
All in all a job well done, the race ran,the backup website was first class and now a good record of the event.Congrats to Mike and his team, the standard has been set.
Whilst talking of offshore films, time to chase Mr.Fuller again for another dose of nostalgia please.

Nice of you to say that Graham, thank you. Your comments are very much appreciated by not only myself but by all who helped me with the race. One day this race too will be a piece of nostalgia.

RB 2008 Film#2

Just watched "the other" RB 2008 film. It was on Swedish TV, Viasat Explorer(pay channel). Nice to be back Round Britain

Lot of comments from Dag P, James S, Andy M and Drew L.
Has this been on English TV? Channel 4?

RB08 Film2

"This was more than simply a race: it was an adventure on a grand scale".

Absolutely and I think that everyone who took part will agree with that statement.

Bearkatt Productions tried very hard but unsuccessfully to get it on British TV and have given up but they have sold it abroad to many countries who have now shown it as has been proved by VildaRib's post, I hope he enjoyed it.

It is more of a overview suitable for the general public, whereas our film was aimed purely at being an historical record and also for the racers and for their memories rather than being commercial.

Jon Fuller now has my copy of this film and I have asked him to put it up on Boatmad. At least it will have an audience who will appreciate it.

I have given one of my copies of this film to Jon Fuller and have asked him to make some copies when he has the time and also to put it up on Boatmad if he can - it's 52mins long.

I am thinking it might be a good idea if Jon sells this DVD on Boatmad to put some monies back in the Boatmad coffers. After all, without Boatmad where would we all be so, in appreciation for what he did over those two hectic years helping me to promote the RB08, I think it's only fair that he gets something back. So it's over to you Jon.
